As video artist, composer and flutist, my work embraces live musical
settings, electro-acoustic sound design and projected video as well as
traditional format moving image art, sound art and installation. These
efforts are largely a response to environment, memory and the
mundane. As a full time father, my praxis is intimately entwined with the
ebb and flow of domesticity. Actively involved with the local art scene, I
am a member of the Media Arts Committee of the DIVA Center in
Eugene, Oregon. A native of central New York's Finger Lakes Region,
much of my creative output to date vibrates with the memory of my
childhood in the region. I currently live in the Pacific Northwest and find
myself responding more and more to the unique personalities of its
natural environments.
