I've written music in both pop and art styles.
In the early '80's I was heavily into the
American Experimental Tradition and
completed some conceptual work as well as
more substantial instrumental work using
indeterminate techniques. Late 80's early
90's had me morphing from garage
rock/post-punk band leader to solo
singer-songwriter. Late 90's found me back
at school getting a masters and wondering
what this idea of being a composer was all
about. Since then I have been involved in
free-improvisation, sound art, video art and
new music performance. Currently I am
focusing on combining live music and video
art with projects ranging from short
non-narrative works to
video "operas", abstracted documentary and
installation.
